Natural & Organics Products Trade show 2012 | ecover | Mypure | Dr Bronner’s |

I was invited to attend the show this year, if you have been following my blog for a while, you will know I’ve been trying to switch to more organic and chemical free products. It was great to see brands I instantly recognise and grown to love.  Brand names such as ecover, food doctor, yogi tea, Dr Bronners, Avalon Organics, etc. My favourite thing to do at these types of events is to hunt down the best exhibition stall. My two favourites were “Chi coconut water” and “stop the water whilst using me”.  Armed with 2 cameras in my bag I was snapping away at the show, I sampled some fabulous products out there.

Flora Tea Company

Susan Ma was also on hand to talk about her Tropic Care range. I was a little shy to approach her.

The theatre provided insightful information, on awareness of the amount of harmful chemicals in everyday products.

Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Core Collection Brush Haul

The real techniques by Samantha chapman brushes have always been on my list of brushes to buy! I was just browsing the other day and saw it was now available in Boots. I popped into my nearest Boots and picked up the Core Collection Set for £21.99. Reading many raving reviews of the brushes I wanted to try them for myself.

The box comes with 4 brushes, which are detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush, and contour brush. The 2-in-1 stand poach is awesome and I love the light weight aluminium handles.  The rubber at the ends stops the brushes from rolling around on a table top.

The actual brushes itself are made of taklon bristles and is super soft and dense. The only brush I have tried so far is the pointed foundation one; it’s A-M-A-Z-I-N-G with my other foundation brushes the product is absorbed into the brushes.  The foundation brush was full of the foundation and glided easily on the face.

Will update everyone when I use the other ones.

[Topshop]

Brought a navy coat from topshop, it attracts so much fluff I need to find my lindt roller to remove the stuff.

White chunky cardi, i’m so into my grandad style chunky knitwear lately, I like to wear it with my colourful print dresses.

mustard scarf, I seen so many people rocking mustard yellow scarves with leather jackets, hehe I just had to have one. Picture above was my outfit today, I rocked mine with the black muubaa leather jacket

[front cover]

The one i’m missing in my makeup kit is pigments and these were half price! will play with them soon!

[Dr Bronner’s magic soap]

I’ve still yet, to finish my other bottle, but thought I stock up! It CLEANS and DISSOLVE the dirt really well, and makes a excellent cleanser for make up brushes!

[Bumble & Bumble]

I’m starting to use SLS products again, my neck didn’t go to well with it and i’ve now develop a patch of eczema, but my scalp’s fine. Bumble & bumble leaves me salon finish ready hair and doesn’t make my hair too greasy.

I have a lot more other thing’s i’ve brought but forgot to take photograph them.

Angelababy is a popular model in asia and I use to read her blog back in Xanga in 2004 http://angelababy.xanga.com/ she no longer updates but you can check out her photos.

Also I’m loving this tutorial for Una The saturdays recreation cat eye make up, also by Lisa. Lisa did the makeup for the image below, Una looking uber HOT.

EOTD - Soft taupe and purple eyes

It’s been such a long time since I got out my eyeshadows to play with, I took inspiration from the “Make up store” magazine and saw a lovely golden taupe wash on the lids and striking purple lined on the bottom of the eyes.

Products used:
yaby - pp040
yaby - pp049 purple iris
maybeline falshies mascara

This photo was suppose to be a FOTD but the lipstick I used didn’t quite work with the rest of my face.
