[Topshop]

Brought a navy coat from topshop, it attracts so much fluff I need to find my lindt roller to remove the stuff.

White chunky cardi, i’m so into my grandad style chunky knitwear lately, I like to wear it with my colourful print dresses.

mustard scarf, I seen so many people rocking mustard yellow scarves with leather jackets, hehe I just had to have one. Picture above was my outfit today, I rocked mine with the black muubaa leather jacket

[front cover]

The one i’m missing in my makeup kit is pigments and these were half price! will play with them soon!

[Dr Bronner’s magic soap]

I’ve still yet, to finish my other bottle, but thought I stock up! It CLEANS and DISSOLVE the dirt really well, and makes a excellent cleanser for make up brushes!

[Bumble & Bumble]

I’m starting to use SLS products again, my neck didn’t go to well with it and i’ve now develop a patch of eczema, but my scalp’s fine. Bumble & bumble leaves me salon finish ready hair and doesn’t make my hair too greasy.

I have a lot more other thing’s i’ve brought but forgot to take photograph them.

Haul - Over the last month | H&M | Boots | Nicki Pumpkin | Illustrated People | Mango

Long overdue post, been very busy with life these days. Here’s my shopping from the past month just keeps mounting up.

Brought a whole bunch of accessories in Boots the semi precious necklace is very pretty and most of the items were under £2.50.

These basic dresses were a absolute bargain only £3 each I can layer them with other items.

Saw this in The laden showroom and fell in love with style and structure. x Nicki Pumkin http://www.nickipumpkin.co.uk/

Brought loads of Illustrated people sweaters for colder months.

Something smart from Mango for the interviews.

I’ve also been eating out loads and had all these nice food out.

Boots - Botanic’s Eye Colour Swatches

Brought these Boots Botanic eye colours eye shadows a VERY long time ago and kept forgetting to swatch, overall it’s a ok. The payoff is not bad my only worry is it has “cones” on the ingredients, it’s also interesting to see “apple” and “coconut” extracts too.

Even more Good Things Skincare Haul

I’m so bad, I was suppose to head to Tony Hadley concert with my friend, but since i’m ill I thought it was best to stay home. I feel sorry for the “King of Leon” fans, the concert was postpone as their tour bus was on fire. Yikes.

The Boots near me closes at 8pm, and they had a 100 bonus points coupon for spending £8 or more on skincare, I was a bit naughty and brought another 2 products from their range.

Max Factor Lash Extension Effect Mascara review

The Max Factor Lash effect mascara is lengthening mascara it promises to create fluttersome lashes.

From the Max Factor website: “The Secret? Our longest brush ever reaches even the tricky corner lashes, leaving you with corner to corner length and impact. Choose from three high fashion shades, graphic black, flattering black/brown or waterproof classic black.”

Product claims:

Make-up artists and beauty lovers know that alluring, long lashes can only be achieved by reaching those hardest-to-reach corner lashes to create a dramatic fan of length. Inspired by professional lash extensions, Lash Extension Effect delivers dramatic length for ALL of your lashes - even the tricky corner ones.

Discover Lash Extension Effect:

  • Max Factor’s unique tapered brush reaches the most important corner lashes, adding dramatic corner detail
  • Our longest mascara brush ever

I start by talking about the brush; it is roughly around 3cm in length, made of plastic bristles. Some of you are aware that I’m not a major fan of mascaras with plastic brushes. The brush does pick up all the lashes, even the tiny ones in the corner that you thought you never had.

Verdict – I wanted to like this mascara but the formula is too wet and made my lashes flop back down within minutes, as you can see even with 2 coats of mascara, there wasn’t much of a definition. It did not give me length as advertised. The only good thing about this mascara it coated evens the tiniest hairs around the corner of my eyes. The mascara cost £10.99 for 6.5ml this product is a miss for me and I won’t be repurchasing this mascara I prefer Maxfactor’s Master piece mascara.

Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make up review

So I managed to pick this up from Boots yesterday, abusing my friends discount and the 3 for 2 offers I managed to get 3 of them for around £4.

I was quite surprised how small the bottle was, it looked much larger in peoples blogs and videos. The bottle size is 150ml RRP£2.99, and has a dual phrase similar to Lancôme bi-facil. Sadly I sold all my bi-facil’s samples to compare with.

Active ingredientsIceland moss used for centuries for its soothing benefits. The high sugar content of the moss helps hydrate skin.

Packaging – simple bottle with a silver screw top, it reminds me of those scientific test tubes for some reason. It has a nice simple artwork sticker using the colours dark grey and green, in a see through cylinder bottle. You can see half the ingredients are made up of see through liquid and a apple green colour.

POA – 6 months

Verdict – To activate the iceland moss shake the bottle to make the two liquids join together. it is such a gentle eye remover I have used, wipes away eye make up with ease even waterproof mascara, and it did not cloud my eyes like my DHC cleansing oil. It thoroughly removed everything within seconds. It did however left a slight layer of residue but this quickly dries up within minutes, also there’s no scent to the product.

A cheap bargain eye makeup remover that does what it says on the packaging buy it!
