O no! can’t believe today’s blog challenge! Without make up I look tired and dead, here is the before and after. I’m getting ready to go out anyways. O the wonders of make up.

Products used:

Lily Lolo In the buff mineral foundation - A foundation that can be used everyday and don’t clog pores or break you out, as you can see it concealed the redness in my skin.

Lily lolo translucent silk finishing powder - it help sets the foundation to last all day. 

Nars Orgasm - adding a slight colour to the cheeks

Alva coleur beige medium bronzing powder - new product i’m testing out for a month, used for contouring the cheeks and nose

MAC Blondie Mineral skin finish - Added to the brow bone to make eyes pop.

and to finish off my hair Gatsby moving rubber spikey edge pink to textured the hair. 

I’m back from pigging out at this year Taste of Christmas, there was so much mouth watering food at this place, me and my friend van stuffed ourselves with food. We watched Antony Thompson cooked in front of eyes and ate some fresh baked mince pies from one of the chefs from Scott’s restaurants. We brought food in the currency of crowns.

My FOTD was simple

MAC mineralized satin finish foundation NC35 with MSF natural medium.

Body shop eyeshadow in 42, MAC smoulder eyeliner, Maybeline turbo mascara.

Kiehls lip balm

After watching Lukian Wang’s Fire and Smoke tutorial I decided to play with the same make up products she used. I love Body shop eyeliner on it’s own but over shadows it fails to show up in photos so i had to layer some smoulder on top. It’s a great colour combination, rusty red browns and carbon blacks, anyways enjoy the FOTD.

I dugged out my Ruby & Millie smokey eye - smokey purple eyeshadow the other day, and loved how rich the colour was. Imagine the Calbury’s milk chocolate purple wrapper and you will know what shade of purple it is.

MAC face and body foundation #C4 using a 187 brush
MAC Prep and Prime powder using Everyday minerals kabuki brush
Ruby & Millie C10 Blush 

EYES
using my ring finger add the base of the Ruby & Millie Smokey purple all over the lid then using a eye shadow brush pat the colour onto the lids. Then using Body Shop #37 pink champagne shadow to go over the crease.
Line the lids with Topshop Coal eyeliner and tight line to the lashes to make them appear thicker. Go over the liner with Bobbi Brown Black ink to intensify the liner. Curl lashes and use Shiseido Mascara base then use L’oreal Voluminious to coat lashes. You now done, a simple smokey eye using only two shades.

I found a lipstick that i own similar to the MAC viva glam lady gaga lipstick. Using muted brown colours it suits the lipstick very well.

Makeup forever foundation #125 using a MAC 109 brush to buff

Cheeks - MAC harmony contouring using a MAC 160

Ruby & Millie cheek Colour C30

Eyes

MAC Stain taupe all over the eyes using a MAC 239 brush using a MAC 217 blend the edges

Using the same brush 239 add MAC smut to the outer corners and lash line

Use the 217 brush to blend Smut with satin taupe

Using a 219 pencil brush add MAC all that glitters to the inner v of the eye this brings light to the area.

Using the 239 brush add satin taupe to the bottom of the eyes.

Using the 219 add MAC Vanilla to the brow bones and blend

Using Stila onyx eyeliner line the rims of the eyes, then use Bobbi brown gel eyeliner in Black ink to line the lashes.

Curl lashes then add a coat of Shiesido mascara base to the top and bottom of your lashes. Using Loreal archietch mascrara in carbon black use a zig zag motion to coat and lengthen the lashes.
